A port and holiday town located on the north coast, 90 km. east of Montego Bay. Large cruise liners stop off at the port, a tourist resort and base for excursions to the numerous waterfalls in the area.

The most spectacular ones are the Dunn’s River Falls which fall down into the sea from a height of 180 m. Other places of interest are the Shaw Park, the Coyaba River Garden and Museum or the famous James Bond beach, which is close to what was the home of his creator, Ian Fleming.
